''"It'''s the new act of hate, and probably because of Barack Obama, people'''s ignorance and fear and jealousy is creating an outrage throughout the country, and people are reacting by putting nooses up. It'''s been a really serious year,''" Nas told Rolling Stone.
He adds that it's "like talking to your child about sex. It'''s hard, but it'''s important,''" he says. ''"It'''s probably going to make people uncomfortable. I don'''t expect a lot of people to sell a record called Nigger."
But then, in a sorta mystifying turn, Nas downplays it all by saying, "It'''s just an album." Yeah, right. Like Illmatic was just an album.

The truth of the matter is that it is the same major labels that present and force these rappers to bring out senseless music without substance. the labels call the shots not the artists. what of interscope hoding back a track from young buck and various other examples. That is why i listen to the underground. the mainstream is bullshit. Nas has called his album nigga for a reason. al sharpton can shout all he wants but he does not give a *** about hip hop. these guys took jazz from the blacks now they want to take hip hop. no way. and for the kids still bumping bow bow hurricane chris dipset etc calling me a back packer men **** ur ignorant brain u fools . i listen to real stuff.
