Nas Takes A Trip Down Memory Lane With TDK
Nas recently sat down with the folks over at TDK, a company known by many for its cassette tapes, to take a trip down memory lane. For the better part of eight minutes, the Queensbridge native goes into detail about his younger days, when he would rip tracks off the radio onto cassettes and make his very own mixtapes. It's kind of endearing to hear a dude, who sometimes can seem unapproachable, get excited talking about his favorite memories surrounding listening to his stereo as a youth. Beyond that, he also provides some of his favorite mixtape tracks, from Queen's "We Will Rock You" to Kool G. Rap & DJ Polo's "It's a Demo," among many others.
