Rapper Nas will join members of political organizations Color of Change and Move On this afternoon in delivering a petition to the offices of Fox News. The petition demands that the network cease attacks on black Americans, specifically presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. The organizations have collected over six hundred thousand signatures protesting statements made my Fox News anchors, including calling Ms. Obama a “baby mama.”

Nas, who has gone a few rounds with Bill O’Reilly in the past, openly criticizes the network on his new track “Sly Fox.” Fox has not issued a statement about whether they will receive the petition, which is to be delivered at two o’clock. [Billboard]
