Alterna-rock survivors Nada Surf are working on their next album, for now going under the title Time for Plan A. The band hopes to have it out by early next year. Matthew Caws and the rest of Nada Surf have worked on basic tracking with producer John Goodmanson in Seattle. Tipped to possibly make guest appearances on the album are Ben Gibbard (where isn't he these days?), Juliana Hatfield, John Roderick of the Long Winters, and Sean Nelson of Harvey Danger. Time, to be released by Barsuk, will be the follow-up to 2005's The Weight is a Gift.
