My Bloody Valentine reissues delayed
Kevin Shields is a man who knows how to take his time. It’s been close to 17 years since Loveless was released, and although the band has resurfaced to play live, there’s still no word on any new recordings. What we are getting is remastered versions of Isn’t Anything and Loveless, which were scheduled for release this week.

Unfortunately the release of the two albums has been delayed as the notoriously hesitant Shields hasn’t finished his liner notes in time. Former Melody Maker journalist Taylor Parkes has heard the reissues and gives his thoughts on them here. While we wait for Shields to put pen to paper, the release date for the albums is now set at July 14. [The Daily Swarm]
