Muse were recently booked to perform "Uprising" on Italian TV in support of their recently released The Resistance LP, and were asked to lip-sync instead of doing the song live. The British three-piece found that unsatisfactory indeed, and played a prank on the show, by moving lead singer/guitarist Matt Bellamy played drums, drummer Dominic Howard played bass and sang, and bassist Christopher Wolstenholme played guitar. Bellamy wins for most hammy performance by a mile. Then the host interviews the "lead singer." It certainly livens up a performance of an okay song.
