Murs and 9th Wonder have steadily dropped a joint album every two years since the release of 2004's Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition. As such, even though the rapper and producer duo hasn't issued a release date (or name) for their forthcoming fifth record, I'm willing to bet we won't hear it until 2012. And when we do hear it, the album will be the last we hear from the duo. We don't know much else beyond that, aside from the fact that it doesn't have a home just yet. 9th Wonder spent some time tweeting yesterday about which label will be the one to release his final collaborative record with Murs. Also, the "split" is an amicable one, as 9th noted: "We have things to do....we have dreams bigger than our albums.....and we are best friends and brothers....that means much more......"
