Legendary sludge-rock band Mudhoney is slated to release its new album The Lucky Ones (cover at left) May 20 via Sub Pop. The label calls the record "deliberately and agressively raw." The band recorded The Lucky Ones in record time - under a week - with Tucker Martine at the production helm, as he was for some of the songs off Mudhoney's last album, 2006's Under a Billion Suns. Mudhoney has one live appearance scheduled in April, then will get down to touring in earnest behind the album in late May.
