Musicians seem to line themselves up to support President Obama these days (we're looking at you, the National), but this is a democracy, so everybody isn't required to. In fact, MTV has identified a number of disgruntled hip-hop artists who will definitely not be supporting the president this fall.
Of note is Kendrick Lamar, who got on camera this week to let everyone know he won't be voting. Why? Because "we all puppets," and the president is but a mere pawn in a larger game. He's taking some flak for his comments, but he's not the only one in this list, as Lupe Fiasco (“In my fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America"), MF Doom, Kim Dotcom, and DMX all express their displeasure at the president's policies (or in DMX's case, his name).
