MTV green lights another Diddy reality show

 

I was going to open this post with a dig at Diddy for doing more reality shows than albums these days, but then I realized that I really could care less if he rapped anymore. I mean, “P.E. 2000?” Give me a break.

 

At any rate, MTV has given the green light to another Diddy reality show—this one called StarMaker, where Diddy finds a group of solo artists, has them live together, and compete for a record contract. Sound like Making the Band? Well, that’s because it essentially is, except everyone is explicitly out for themselves. The show is slated to start in January of 2009. [All Hip-Hop]
