MSTRKRFT tour in support of 'The Looks'

Ahhh, the art of subtlety...It'''s nowhere to be found on the hyped, disco-fueled electrofunk that fills The Looks, the debut full-length from Canada'''s MSTRKRFT. They rolled into NYC's Don Hill'''s this weekend, presumably without any pesky vowels, and are touring all over the place in support of their nasty beats. Their video for "Easy Love," though quite hot, isn't suitable for work viewing. Funny, I happen to know someone who isn'''t suitable to work for, actually. He is Prefix Magazine'''s media tyrant Dave Park.
Prefix publisher Dave Park will slouch down in his large leather chair in his luxurious corner office most of the day, and gaze out its cathedral-sized windows. While staff writers toil ceaselessly at the opposite end of the building, Dave Park relaxes. He'''s careful not to bend his aged frame into any unnatural position at his desk, but leans forward occasionally toward the office PA system and mutters unpleasant remarks about most staff members''' mothers over the intercom. Then he'''ll cackle for hours, his monstrous, hunched back moving to and fro''¦and we just return to our computers, tapping out more of Dave Park'''s blog directives. I watch MSTRKRFT videos to make myself feel better.
