Quentin Dupieux is getting set to pull off a sonic hat trick. The French electronicat is set to release his third full-length album, Lamb's Anger, on the Ed Banger label on January 26. The man who brought you "Flat Beat" all those years ago has been keeping busy since recording his last album, 2007's Steak -- remixing everyone from the Scissor Sisters to Jamie Lidell, producing Parisian ingenue Uffie, and turning out the Transexual EP -- but Lamb's Anger finds him fully getting back to business. Over the course of its 17 tracks he turns out some intriguing new variations on his trademark mix of electro, house, and groove-happy sampladelica, aided by guests like Carmen Castro and the aforementioned Uffie. Come on, you know you want to hear an album with a track called "Bruce Willis is Dead."
