If you know anything about Prefix, you know we love Devin the Dude. (On the old Prefix message boards, he even won the poll to become our unofficial mascot.) Needless to say, we tend to go cuckoo for anything he's involved with, so we're happy to present to you a new track from Boston's Special Teamz, a group featuring Beantown legend Edo.G and pals Slaine, Jaysaun and DJ Jayceeoh. The low-end bounce of "Long Time Coming" comes courtesy of up-and-coming producer Xplicit. Special Teamz new record, Stereotypez, will be released on the always correct Duck Down Records and will feature production by Pete Rock, DJ Premier and Marco Polo, among others. Cop it September 25. Just for the hell of it, follow the jump for a classic from Edo.G's 1991 debut, back when he was Ed O.G.
