Pharoahe Monch has fired another shot in the battle to create the highest level of anticipation for a hip-hop record in 2007.One more track from his upcoming record, Desire, has hit the Interweb. A departure from the more soul-heavy tracks like "Push" and "Desire" that have leaked thus far, this paranoid Twilight Zone beat backs up some fierce stream-of-consciousness rhymes from the Queens emcee. It's not exactly summer soundtrack music, but it does generate a hell of a lot of heat.
Best of all, it leaves the door wide open as far as what to expect from the full album, if SRC ever stops pushing it back and just releases the damn thing. Simon Says give the people what they want, Rifkind! We kid ... the record is due out on June 26.
