Meh. I don't get the hoopla with Weezy, he has a couple of decent tracks but 'Most Overrated Rapper Alive' is more like it. How can you be the best alive without even one classic album?

What's not to like? His flow is fresh, his lyrics are complex and that minimal beat is great. Not to mention the hook...

^Like I said, he's not wack, it's just that he's far from the 'Best Rapper Alive' in my opinion. He's good, I'm not gonna deny his skill, I just think he's overrated.The state HipHop's in nowadays makes people surprised when someone actually has a fresh flow, complex lyrics and dope beats. That shouldn't make you special, that should be required to grace a mic. And until dude has a couple classic albums where he does that front to back and is innovative too I stand by my claim that he's overrated.

yo hes pretty good and the only reason hes big right now is because there really is no other competition for him, making him the undesputed "best." I dont think hes better than some old school dudes like Biggie or Pac even though he claims he is, and i think that even though he doesnt have that classic album that dropped and everyone bought, he has constant mixtapes made and tracks put out there without it being on a CD, and hes making these mixtapes while compiling songs for his next CD, Tha Carter III.
