John Darnielle has kept busy in 2007, even if this year hasn't seen the release of a new Mountain Goats album. He's helped hype the beautiful new band Bowerbirds by name-dropping them as his favorite new group and inviting the band out on tour with him. (Details on those dates, still to come later this month, can be found here.) And Darnielle recently guested on a track on the new Aesop Rock album.
