Most Goodwill Generating Promo Ever?

The only thing more omnipresent than live music during South by Southwest is marketing, typically of the crass and ineffective variety; so props should be given to Matador Records for a promo that people will not merely enjoy, but find acutely useful. 

To hype The New Pornographers forthcoming long-player Together (due May 4), Matador Records will be running a "Together Shuttle," transporting the SxSW-bound from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport direct to several downtown Austin locations in high style, providing cocktails to aid post-flight recuperation and piping a sneak preview of tracks from Together through what I hope will be a banging shuttle bus sound system. Even if you aren't keen on the New Pornos, this shuttle is no joke, and if you are planning on hitting up the festival allow this Austinite to offer a morsel of advice; public transportation in ATX is sketchy at best, and taxis only exist to rip you off.
