Mos Def, Jay Electronica, and Currensy Prep Group Album

In what could possibly be the most bizarre news of 2009, former Lil Wayne underling Currensy has announced his plans to record a collaborative album with underground favorites Mos Def (who released his own brilliant solo effort, The Ecstatic, last June) and Jay Electronica. So far, the group --- apparently called Center Edge Territory --- has finished six tracks together. Hey, if DJ Quik and Kurupt can make it work, why can't these three? [MTV]
