Morrissey may move to Warner Bros.

Morrissey dropped hints during an online discussion with fans that he may be close to signing a deal with Warner Bros. Morrissey's previous two albums, 2006's Ringleader of the Tormentors and 2004's You are the Quarry, were put out by Attack, which is under the Sanctuary umbrella. But Sanctuary has said that it is largely putting the kibosh on releasing any new material. Morrissey has previously recorded with the Warner Bros. family of labels, so a return there could ease up issues with any re-releases he might have in mind. Moz also told fans he'll either spend the rest of this year touring the world or getting down to work on a new album.

For Moz fanatics, every time he sneezes it's newsworthy.

Fanaticism - never good wherever it rears its head. No question he's an icon/legend but it's just funny that this would be considered in any way newsworthy. Now if you told me Rick Rubin or Timbaland was gonna produce his next album, that'd be something else....

Okay, we'll keep that in mind.
