Morrissey turns down Smiths reunion, rips your heart into a million tiny pieces

You gotta be a pretty stubborn mother to turn down $75 million, but that's exactly what Morrissey is when it comes to reuniting his old band. The singer recently turned down that amount as part of an offer to tour under the Smiths name in 2008 and/or 2009, the only stipulation being that Johnny Marr must be a part of the band. Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce must be feeling like pieces of shit right now.
In other Morrissey news, the singer is offering discount prices to diehard fans for his upcoming fall North American tour. A "seasons ticket" will be offered at a reduced price for fans that want to attend every show of multiple-night stands in New York and Los Angeles. The tour begins Septermber 20; check our previous posting for all dates.
