This will no doubt come as sorrowful news to Moz fans everywhere: Morrissey is hinting at retirement...in a mere five years.
The man is 49 years old, and it has certainly been some time since he penned teenage angst classics like "Sheila Take a Bow" and "Half a Person."
Yet what will the world be like without Morrissey to shake things up every once in a while? It is likely that few other British icons can claim a mass Mexican fanbase.
And which other non-Estonian pop stars will take it upon themselves to publicize Estonians' views on America?
On his possible retirement, Morrissey commented: "I assume most people lose it because they become satisfied and they achieve everything they ever set out to achieve." But I'm sure that others would argue, at least in the case of Morrissey, that "there is a light that never goes out."
