Morrissey To Release New Album On Universal

Earlier this month, in a Q&A organized by his fan site True to You, Morrissey hinted at working on new music; now we've got some details. The singer has just announced signing a deal with Harvest Record (a US-based imprint of Universal Records), and will be releasing his new album sometime in the second half of the year.

The former Smiths' frontman is set record the follow-up to 2009's Years of Refusal in France, joined by producer Joe Chiccarelli and his regular backing band.
