The feature-length film, entitled Passions Just Like Mine, a line from the Smiths' song "Cemetary Gates," will take a look at several fans' so-called "relationships" with Morrissey. The production company responsible for the film, Urban Cowgirl Productions, says in a press release: "Audiences will be able to see first hand how obsessed these fans really are and how they became that way. We will follow these fans to Smiths tribute shows and Morrissey conventions as well as through neighborhoods and family homes." And with just one look at this trailer for the film, included below, we can tell we're in for potentially some of the looniest obsessives seen in a documentary since Trekkies. No word on the release date yet.
