It’s been hard to keep Morrissey out of the spotlight in recent times, mostly for all the wrong reasons. He started a feud with one of his own fansites and made some distinctly off-color comments about the shootings in Norway, but it appears he’s about to put all that behind him by getting back to the business of making music again.
The former Smiths singer will play his first spate of U.S. dates for two years beginning in November, which will be followed by a series of shows in Mexico. There’s a new solo album in the bag, although it doesn’t appear to have a title, release date or even a label yet. Perhaps there will be some news on that to follow this announcement.
