The very fact that an act like Portishead, whose U.S. shows are few and far between, was curating an All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Asbury Park, N.J., this fall was probably enough to move tickets quickly. But, of course, the Bristol trio wasn't going to just play the three-day festival by themselves. They soon revealed the killer lineup, which features the likes of Jeff Mangum, Shellac, Battles, Swans, Ultramagnetic MCs, and Mogwai, among many others.
As you probably guessed, the three-day passes for the show sold out pretty damn fast. Day passes for the festival, which runs Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, remain available and cost $60 for Friday and $99 for Saturday and Sunday each. But people still wanted a way to have access to the entire festival and catch Portishead's sets.
And the band and the folks at ATP have heeded their call as "Portishead Three Day Passes" will be on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. These passes include all three days of the event along with both of Portishead's shows. Those of you hoping to catch Mangum live, however, remain shit outta luck as those tickets are long gone.
