Moldy Peaches set to release Juno track as single

The singles charts just got a whole lot cuter. The Moldy Peaches, whose appearance on the Juno soundtrack rather instantly updated their resume from “modest indie success” to “prominent figure on #1 album in U.S.,” are set to capitalize on said update with the release of “Anyone Else but You” in the form of a proper single. The song, not only on the film’s soundtrack but additionally performed by main squeezes Michael Cera and Ellen Page within its actual plot, was originally on the Peaches’ 2001 debut. The single’s release is set for February 25th and comes in conjunction with Juno’s UK theater release (February 8th). [NME]

i loathe this band. i had to engineer kimya a couple weeks back for a radio gig. she had this bizarre entourage of a danish nanny and a gay publicist. she didn't speak to the DJ, but spoke to the publicist who spoke to the DJ, even though we were all in the same cubicle sized room. then she talked about an upcoming gig at a hippie commune where she was going to be paid in hammocks, because "hammocks are so much better than money". i loathe this band.

I feel your pain.Although, I enjoyed the soundtrack and movie I knew something didn't jive with this band.I lost respect for them after athe preformace on the View.I just hope the music on this soundtrack doesn't "blowup" in the way the shi*ty Garden State movie and soundtrack did, talk about loathing something!
