Mogwai Reveal Live Album and Film Details

A few details about Mogwai’s film Burning have already been issued, and now a full track listing and audio preview are available. The film will debut in the band’s native Glasgow at a special screening on Feb. 28, as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The live concert movie was shot over three shows in Brooklyn in April 2009.

A version of “Batcat” from the film is currently streaming on the band’s MySpace page, and this will feature on the CD/triple vinyl release from the shows, which is titled Special Moves. A dedicated website for the record has been set up here, where the song “2 Rights Make 1 Wrong” can be obtained for the price of an e-mail address.
