Mogwai Postpones East Coast Shows Again

Mogwai had a few East Coast dates scheduled over the next week, which had been rearranged after visa issues caused the band to scrap some of its original tour back in April. Now those newly organized dates have also been cancelled after the band issued the following statement:

It is with the utmost regret that for medical reasons we have to postpone our American shows this week and cancel the I'll Be Your Mirror performance. We will announce new dates as soon as possible and apologise for the last minute nature of this announcement.

Those dates included a show at the first ATP event to be staged in Asbury Park in New Jersey. It remains to be seen whether the organizers of that event have time to fill that slot. Let’s hope the reason for the cancellation isn’t too serious. The other dates affected are as follows.

09.26 New York, NY: Webster Hall

09.27 New York, NY: Webster Hall

09.28 Philadelphia, PA: Starlight Ballroom

09.29 Washington, D.C.: 9:30 Club

10.01 Boston, MA: House Of Blues
