Apparently the reissue of The Moon and Antarctica by Modest Mouse will not be the only album in their catalog undergoing such a process. Isaac Brock and company have decided to re-release their 1997 EP The Fruit That Ate Itself and 2001's Sad Sappy Suck full-length. Both will be available on CD or 180gram vinyl and will come courtesy of Isaac Brock's label Glacial Pace.
Both releases were originally released on K Records and recorded by owner Calvin Johnson at his Dub Narcotic Studios. Sad Sappy Sucker is something of a cult-classic for Modest Mouse fans. Originally slated to be the group's debut LP over 15 years ago, the album was shelved until 2001 where it was finally released.
The reissues will arrive Nov. 9th via Glacial Pace Recordings.
