Modest Mouse Announce Spring And Summer US Shows

Modest Mouse, the Isaac Brock-helmed indie favorite-turned-mainstream success story, have been pretty quiet since confirming rumors of working on a new album (which will include a collaboration with Big Boi), back in 2011. This might change soon, and the first step seems to be them getting back on the road. The Portland band has just announced several US dates in May and August; we can only assume this means their sixth studio LP is nearing completion.

May shows:

05.01 Portland, OR: Crystal Ballroom (w/ Survival Knife)

05.09 Charlotte, NC: The Fillmore
05.10 Atlanta, GA: Shaky Knees Music Festival
05.12 New Orleans, LA: Civic Theatre
05.14 Miami, FL: The Fillmore at Jackie Gleason
05.16 Orlando, FL: Beacham Theater
05.17 Gulf Shores, AL: Hangout Music Festival
