Mixtape Imagines What if Dilla Produced <i>The Blueprint</i> (Download)

Despite being at the top of their games at the same time (early '00s, late '90s) legendary producer J. Dilla and Jay-Z never worked together. Jimmy Green, an intrepid mixtape DJ, has created a mixtape that imagines that they did; he mashes up The Blueprint with Dilla instrumentals. The results are sort of predictable--a lot of dusty, blown-out beats underneath Jay's lyrics-- but there are some pretty cool moments ("Takeover" especially).
