Say what you will about the live performances of classic albums, but I think we can all agree that Mission of Burma has earned a bit of entitlement on this front. As one of the few reunited 80s indie bands to have continued to produce vital music this decade, Mission of Burma can be forgiven for adding to the nostalgic trend by performing Vs. and Signals, Calls & Marches, their classic 80s releases, in full live performances.
In any event, MoB has added dates for each of the performances, thus flooding the market with a highly demanded product. The new dates are as follows:
Performing Vs.:
09.25 Los Angeles, CA: Echoplex
09.27 San Francisco, CA: Independent
10.01 Seattle, WA: Neumos
Performing Signals, Calls & Marches
09.26 San Francisco, CA: Independent
09.29 Portland, OR: Doug Fir
09.30 Vancouver, British Columbia: Plaza Nightclub
While we probably won't be seeing any complete performances of The Obliterati for another 20 years or so, we'll be waiting for them all the same.
