Mirah releasing insectuous new album, touring

    Like the creepy crawly critters? Then you’ll definitely be interested in K Records songstress Mirah’s next project. She’s teamed with Kyle Hanson and Lori Goldston of Black Cat Orchestra and other instrumentalists, all going by the name Spectratone International, to create Share this Place: Stories and Observations. The stories and observations related are reportedly all about insects. The album, produced by Phil Elvrum and Steve Fisk, is slated for release August 7 on K. It will come with an illustrated lyric booklet, and the CD will also contain an animated short film.
