Mike Patton's Tomahawk Announce New Album, 'Odd Fellows'

It's now been 20 years since what many count as Mike Patton's finest musical moment, Faith No More's 1992 Angel Dust, but the 44-year-old is still trucking along with as prolifically as ever. Next January, Patton's project Tomahawk -- which also features the Jesus Lizard guitarist Daune Denison, Melvins bassist Trevor Dunn, and Battles drummer John Stanier -- will return with Oddfellows, its first album since 2007's Anonymous. The album was recorded at Dan Auerbach’s Nashville Easy Eye Sound studio and co-produced by Tomahawk and Collin Dupuis (the Black Keys, the Nocturnals). Additionally, a new trailer for the album already has comments sections just buzzing with King Crimson comparisons. Judge for yourself below.
