Mike Patton Scores Film, Promises New Tomahawk LP
Always-busy Mike Patton is again putting his numerous other projects on hold to work on a film score. Just as he did for Crank: High Voltage and The Solitude of Prime Numbers, the multi-talented West Coast native is composing a score for The Place Beyond the Pines. The film is written and directed by Derek Cianfrance, of Blue Valentine fame, and stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes.
