With a new album on the way, it's always best for a band to stay out there on the road, drumming up notice of the forthcoming material. Such is the case with L.A.'s Midnight Movies. Having just finished up a tour with Alexi Murdoch, the band will now soldier on with a few shows of their own, head down to Austin for SXSW, and then team up with Blonde Redhead in April. All of this anticipates the release of Lion the Girl, the band's sophomore offering, out April 24 on New Line Records.
