Joe Jackson is apparently wasting no time in exploring future commercial enterprises in the wake of his son’s tragic death. “I keep watching Paris,” he told MTV, in a creepy reference to Michael Jackson’s daughter. Now rumors have gathered that Joe is plotting a group with Michael’s three kids, potentially named the Jackson Three.

Michael’s biographer Ian Halperin has been talking to British tabloid the Sun about the story, which would involve Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket all going on a world tour in 2010. “[Joe] is talking about getting them the world's best backing band and taking them on tour as The Jackson Three,” Halperin says.

These reports have apparently (and unsurprisingly) angered some members of the Jackson family. "One of the family members is livid." Halperin said. "He is saying Joe seems intent to do this no matter what. He wants to exploit the kids the same way he did Michael."

Halperin has released numerous celebrity muckraking books and the Sun isn’t exactly the most reliable resource, so the “Jackson Three” story is likely to be nothing more than the work of over-active minds. Expect the Jackson rumor mill to reach ever more ludicrous and sad extremes in the coming weeks.
