Michael Jackson's Doctor Not Taking Plea Bargain

Lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor at the time of his death, have announced that they are not going to be taking any plea deal on Murray's charges of involuntary manslaughter. It's something of a gambit, since there are multiple witnesses who are claiming that Murray hid evidence before calling the police, which would show he has some guilt over Jackson's death. Murray's lawyers' bigger concern, at the moment, is whether or not they feel they can seat an impartial jury at a potential trial, which could be something of a challenge. [Yahoo]

Chernoff is nuts if he thinks he can find a jury stupid enough to believe that Murray was not responsible for Jackson's death. Murray acted recklessly and did not follow protocol for the administration of propofol to his patient. They should plead insanity.
