Michael Jackson to leave his share of Beatles catalog to Paul McCartney in his will

Contact Music is reporting that Michael Jackson is planning to leave his share in 200 Beatles songs to Paul McCartney in his will in order to make up for the fact that the two of them haven't talked to each other in over 20 years after Jackson outbid McCartney for the Beatles' catalog.

In the years since winning the Beatles catlog, Jackson merged the catalog with Sony, creating SonyATV, of which Jackson owns 50 percent. Jackson said he wants to make things right between he and McCartney, and the only way to do that is to give back the songs.

This would be a pretty interesting story if all those stories over Christmas about Jackson supposedly dying were true-- in the same story Jackson's reps are saying he's healthy and ready to return to the pop world. [Contact Music]

Michael Jackson is scared to death!!! He MUST give back those copyrights to Paul Mccartney not because Jackson is going to dye folks. It is because England's copyright law states songs of a deceased songwriter after 25 years must go back to heirs of the deceased. Jackson is stalling for time he no longer has. He is hiding a lovechild daughter of John Lennon. John Lennon who is dead more than 25 years. That is why in the last couple of years you have been seeing rock reunions like Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth. Both enemies but they want to tribute Lennon
wish to give the inheritance to a daughter he fought to see and couldn't because of scandal. This is a very hurtful tear jerker story. That is why Lennon was depressed years ago. That is why Jackson is making up the fact that he is sick. His nerves have got him. He played 23 years with Beatle money why the daughter never got her birthright. Illigiitmate or not Lennon receognized her. Every star on the planet will be there for the day this takes place. Jackson God has trapped you and now you get what you deserve.

This ridiculous. Jackson will keep the publishing rights. The Beatles sold them to Sir Guy Holmes back in the 70s for miilions of pounds. You will see who keepe them. Paul will not get them back. Paul own alot of R&B music does this also get retured to their relatives; since most have been dead for 50 years? Or is this really a race issue were a Black is not supposed to own your precious white Beatles. From his dead bleached hands!

I guess we'll find out sooner than later, huh?

Well, I guess Paul and John's estate get their stuff back.

I would be very happy for someone to own the rights who would make the music more accessible. If that person could be Paul, then I hope this is true. If not, then I hope someone buys it at auction who will allow the fans to enjoy it more.

Also, if you are going to post something online, you should probably proof read it or spell check it. If you are trying to make a point and leave out words/ misspell words/ etc, then you look unintelligent and ignorant.

Nope he didn't that will that was read was from 2002 and a draft if they even got it from that one. He had NO OFFICIAL WILL they are saying on all news outlets. Wow check your facts first guys who told you they read it the day he died? They hardly ever read it the day the person dies let alone release it to the public. It's usually read after all the services.
