Michael Jackson Hires The Incredible Hulk

Michael Jackson has come up with a great way to combat all those rumors about his ailing health. The eccentric singer has hired the Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, to help him prepare for his run of 50 comeback shows in London. It’s unlikely that Jackson will burst out of a tight pair of purple pants with his skin turning green during the concerts, although stranger things have happened to him over the years.

Ferrigno is set to work with Jackson in Los Angeles prior to the shows. “He likes me — he feels safe with me, he feels protected,” Ferringo reportedly told English tabloid The Sun. “He was nervous about people looking at him when he was training.” The paper alleges that no weight lifting will take place. Instead, Ferrigno aims to have Jackson in top shape for all his exhausting dance routines.

It’s been 12 years since the singer undertook any touring duties, and he looked perilously thin at the press conference to announce his London shows. The Ferrigno story may just be a rumor—The Sun isn’t the most reliable of sources—but it’s another entertaining diversion on the road to those concerts actually taking place.
