The news dump hitting the world in the wake of Michael Jackson's death is seemingly never-ending at this point. Today the Associated Press added to the pile by reporting that Michael Jackson completed a video two weeks before his death, called the "Dome Project."
The people closest to the project have all signed confidentiality agreements, so there's not a whole ton of information about the project available, apart from its existence. According to the AP's sources, it was filmed in Los Angeles' Culver Studios, from June 1-9. Also, one of the four sets constructed for the video's shoot is a cemetery similar to the one used in the 1983 video for "Thriller."
Michael Roth, spokesman for AEG, the company that underwrote the O2 concerts, said that he had not heard of the video, but that it's possible that the video could've been a part of the contract. So in short, despite last week's tragedy, somebody's gonna make some money off of Michael Jackson.
The "Dome Project" is now in post-production and should be completed by next month.
