MGMT has announced they will be working with The Chemical Brothers on the follow up to their critically acclaimed 1st album, Oracular Spectacular. MGMT recently told NME, "We'll experiment with them to find a different sound, they have this psychedelic side to them, so we'll find common ground."

The duo is also playing around with the idea that the next record may be a double disc, one containing pop tunes, the other containing full blown psychedelia. This could be a smart, ambitious effort for the highly successful duo's follow-up, considering their explorations into psychedelia in a live setting are some of the more highly enjoyable to date within the realms of pop music.  [Angry Ape]
