MGMT Reveal 'Congratulations' Tracklisting

A countdown to the release of the new MGMT album, Congratulations, has begun on the band’s official website. The album was recorded over the summer of 2009 with Sonic Boom (also known by his real name, Pete Kember) from Spacemen 3 in the producer’s chair,  and will allegedly bear no singles prior to its release.

The full tracklisting for Congratulations has also been announced, and the band is paying tribute to a few of its musical heroes in the titles—both Brian Eno and Television Personalities singer Dan Treacy get namechecks. The countdown on the website is due to end on April 13, which is now presumed to be the North American release date.
