Beloved psych-poppers MGMT will hit the road in April in support for their much buzzed about sophomore album Congratulations, out April 13. The tour kicks off with a pair of sold out shows at San Francisco's Fillmore on April 12 and 13 and includes festival gigs at Coachella (April 17), Bamboozle (May 2), and Lollapalooza (August 8).
If you can't manage to pull yourself off your couch and catch them live, the duo will bring their brand of odd ball pop into your living rooms when they make their Saturday Night Live debut on April 24 and return to Letterman on May 11.
Great post - really digging the new album a lot so far. Took a couple listens but it's really grown on me. Can't wait to see these guys on tour. Also - there's a bunch of cool stuff up on the band's site, including the super-wonky video for "Flash Delirium." Definitely worth the trip... www.whoismgmt.com
