MF GRIMM Returns May 18 With 'You Only Live Twice' LP
It's been four years since we have heard from the other MF in the hip-hop world. And MF Grimm is making his return from his hiatus with You Only Live Twice: The Audio Graphic Novel. It's not like he spent all that time in the studio or performing or anything like that. He was actually just occupied with his other love, the comic book industry. After reading Robert McKee's Story, the MC became inspired and wanted to do exactly the same. He began working on Sentences: The Life of MF GRIMM, which was nominated for two Eisner Awards in 2008. Then, in 2009, GRIMM contributed to Complex Magazine and MTV's Splashpage.
But the music bug hadn't left GRIMM. Along with producer Twiz the Beat Pro, the rapper got to work on You Only Live Twice, which is due out May 18. It also encompasses his love for comic books as it will be accompanied by a 13-page comic book outlining the album's 13 tracks.
