Mew Releases Sensory Spaces App

The band that sells out arenas in their home country of Denmark, Mew has never been driven by fame nor capital. On their last LP, No More Stories/ Are Told Today / I’m Sorry / They Washed Away // No More Stories / The World Is Grey / I’m Tired / Let’s Wash Away, saw the prog-rock of 2005’s And the Glass Handed Kites transform into an arty experimental off-kilter pop. It’s been over four years since Mew has released a full-length. In anticipation of their sixth studio album, the Copenhagen trio keeps up their innovative repute with the announcement of an app (currently available only for Apple devices). Created in partnership with Bang  & Olufsen’s latest branch, B&O PLAY, Sensory Spaces challenges the players to use their hearing to experience the Mew universe. The product may be geared towards their fans, but it could be an insight into how well-oiled  your auditory nerves are. Download the free app via iTunes.

Mew currently have select tour dates in Asia, Russia, and in London (Ja Ja Ja Festival) for this fall.
