Metallica’s Death Magnetic to hit stores on a Friday
Metallica’s new album, Death Magnetic, will reportedly be released on a Friday worldwide instead of the traditional Monday for international, Tuesday for North America, release date.
Metallica’s last album, 2003’s St. Anger, was also not released on a Tuesday due to piracy concerns but the band has offered no reason for the switch with Death Magnetic.
Death Magnetic is due out on September 12 via Warner Brothers. [NME]
