In this footage from a recent Metallica concert, guitarist Kirk Hammett busts out the guitar riff from "Beat It" and singer James Hetfield offers a tribute to the King of Pop without admitting to having copies of Dangerous on the tour bus. The band then jams out with a full tribute to Queen, because they have sweet guitar solos and stuff. Though Metallica's tributes show that metal has a conscience, I don't think I'm alone in saying that other artists, like Slayer and Marilyn Manson, should really have paid their respects by now.
