Storied indie-rock label Merge today began offering up digital downloads of the imprint's albums over at its online store. Albums are available in both MP3 and FLAC formats. In addition to the latest albums by American Music Club and Radar Bros., and Merge classics like Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and Magnetic Fields's 69 Love Songs, the label will use the digital store to re-issue rare and out of print material. First up: Superchunk's The Clambake Series Volume One: Acoustic In-Stores East and West. It will be availalbe starting tomorrow (March 4).
