'Tis the season for international music prize news. Last week we learned who the finalists are for Canada's Polaris Prize. Now we know the same for the U.K.'s Mercury Prize. Last year's winners, Arctic Monkeys (pictured), will defend their title, as Favourite Worst Nightmare is one of the twelve albums still in contention for the honor. Another former winner, Dizzee Rascal, is up again, this time for Maths + English. Albums from artists including Amy Winehouse, Bat for Lashes, and Klaxons are also on the list.
